Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' last three seasons. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter sang her debut country albums. The album bearing the same name was ranked in the Billboard 200's Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. When she finished the decade, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she started her career as a performer, appearing on screen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teen years. Kramer was a guest on episodes in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she was on until the final episode in 2012, about halfway through. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre I Won't Give Up. It was featured later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in mid 2012. It made it to into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Then Kramer concentrated her acting career around film and music. She starred in several films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy - an album that was a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on the album reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016 the singer was a part of two weeks on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth-place finish. That year she also had an adult contemporary hit with the song "Feels Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
